Writer Is Found Dead at Home

David Foster Wallace looks to have been a well liked writer and author to many folks. While lauded in many articles for his work, what compels someone to end their life tragically, at the end of a rope no less?
While I have never read his work (and it looks like now I might) why does suicide seem to bring out the love in people after the event. Is it untimely death and the need for answers that has the living wanting to answer these questions for us?
Why did he do this?
What was he thinking?
Could I have helped?
I have nothing personal against the man, don't get me wrong, but to say how great he was doesn't answer the real question of cowardice that it took to take ones own life. After some time, and it will more than likely be his wife and family, will the anger come and the pain. Will these news articles help them then? Nope, cause after the glow and press, fades the real victims of suicide are the living, and they have every reason in the world to be upset/pissed off/mad at the world, and most of all at the dead.
My step father committed suicide back in 1992 and to this day I am still mad at him, never getting the answer's I needed, or past the guilt of what I could have done. Instead of saying how great David Foster was, someone needs to write the angry press and call him out for this violent act against not only himself, but his friends and family.
Rest in Peace David, but the pain for living is just beginning.
